*This Year's Love ~ David Gray*
Handed in my thesis draft on thursday. And as usual, there had to be these... personal obstacles to go through. Didn't sleep the night before, polishing up grammar mistakes and such and just when I was ready to print, I found that there were calculation errors. Hence me doing some more data input and calculating with SPSS. And then of course, my printers wouldn't cooperate. And then I haven't made the abstract and these other menial pages...
Anyhoo, I went to campus around 11 or 12, got my advisors signature, and then ran to the comp rental and finished my stuff. Printed everything around 2:30 pm, photocopied it and bound them into 3 bindings, all done at 2:50 pm. Oh, have I told you that the deadline was at 3 pm? Anyway, at that time, it started raining, so I had to run thru the rain, thru the railway and the woods and got it in just on time. Meh, how very B movie... or Indian movie-like. Guess I had luck on my side. Hm, maybe that penny I got from a certain someone worked its charms? I actually had it in my backpocket along with the letter. Some of the writings in it is smudged by the rain, but its still readable. Was gonna reply the letter in the afternoon, when all the drama was over, but too tired.
After the whole drama, I went to the canteen, and found they're just closing, hence no drinks. My shirt was wet and all I could do was just collapse on one of the chairs. Good thing Anne-koi was there to calm me down thru my time of panic attacks... and fan me when I was sweaty and exhausted after the whole running around ^^. Thanks, Koi. Well, stage one of the game is cleared. Now for stage 2.
Andrea, hope you're doing okay and getting well by the day. Heart virus. Sounds serious. Or maybe I'm just too paranoid. Anyway, I wish you well. Also, good luck on school ^^. Btw, the things I do for you, Princess XP. But nice to know you like those AADC songs.

*One of These Days ~ Michelle Branch*
God am I exhausted! Today I finally finished trying out my thesis instrument. Now I gotta work on the data to get the results. Well, that can wait till tomorrow evening. I plan to relax the next 24 hours or so. Gonna catch Kill Bill with Koi and some friends at the cinemas tomorrow. Gotta pick up the Bogorians at Westcape around 10:30 am.
Last night I only slept around 5 hours. It seems that my internal clock is contently fixated on that amount for the number my sleeping hours currently. I think it started sometime last week. Besides, when I tried to catch up with my sleep, something always prompt me to wake up anyway. Tried to sleep late Saturday, but my mom shoved a letter to my face. I was somehow torn between annoyed and smiling inwardly hearing these words coming from my mom "Wake up! There's a letter from Andrea." Gah. Perfect. Timing. Not XP. Oh well, I don't really mind now to think of it. (Shut up, Princess XP)
Anyway, last week I mostly worked on my thesis. Although I did manage to squeeze in some quality time with my friends. Let's see if I remember correctly:
Monday: Not sure what I did this day. I know I caught up with Andrea till God knows what time. Oh yeah, did some cleaning coz the house was in shambles and dust was everywhere after we got back from Semarang.
Tuesday: Met Koi, Dhieta and some other friends at Plasa Senayan. We had fun. Of course somehow I ended up pimping Anne again, but hey, that's not something irregular. Watched Underworld and The Two Towers : Extended version at night.
Wednesday: Comp broke down, so I called the techy from ITC to come over, and hey, he did. Comp problem settled, for the time being. Turns out that the motherboard wasn't stable coz the setting for the processor was wrong. Not that it still doesn't have any problems of lately, but hey, it's an improvement.
Thursday: Went to campus to get my advisor's signature for permission letters concerning my thesis instrument try out. Joey texted me to ask if I was coming over, so after a confirmation we set up a lunch date. Got to campus, met Mel who basicly told me my date from hell for the day is already waiting (bitch!XP). Met Joey, had lunch or something like that and then organized a get together with the other members of the "gang". Mel and Gita joined us for a while before they had to go their own way. Then we went to the photocopy shop and we dropped off some stuff and went our separate ways. I managed to find my way to Nday's dorm. We watched some stuff and discussed many a things, mostly about movies and Michelle Branch, being the groupie that she is *gets bricked*. Went home with a Wrong Turn poster (thanks, Nday! Now a certain someone can't gloat about having that poster on her wall just to annoy me ^^), and some movies and Meech's first CD.
Friday: Went to campus again coz my advisor didn't come on Thursday since she was sick. Before though, I escorted my mom to the bank and stuff. Anyway, got my advisor's signature and then processed the letter. Had lunch with Joey again, which was unplanned. Hehe, I had this beer-like drink in a tall beer glass (it's Green Sands if anyone was wondering XP) which I drank with a straw (Joey :"Well that certainly takes away the manly points"). One thing lead to another and I told Jo something which thankfully was taken very well. God knows how I love Jo for this. And yeah, I think nothing between us has changed, seeing our interaction the past few days, which is a big plus. Anyway, I guess we got carried away with our talk because then I realized that I was late for my meeting with Nday (I already said I'm sorry! How many times do you want me to say it?XP). Nday joined us at the Peach afterwards and then Jo left and we went to Nday's. This time I brought Popular movie files and we reminisced. Dropped off my Smallville DVD also. Returned Meech's first album. Will buy myself that album when it's on sale or I have the dough.
Saturday: Tried to sleep late, but Blondie Bear's letter served as a catalyst to another 5-hours-o-sleep. Cute XP. I meant the letter XP. I already gave some questionnaires to my bro for his friends in the morning. I lost sleep preparing them. Later I went to the money changer with my bro coz he wanted to buy a new phone since his old one kinda died. The bitch actually bought a Nokia 3660. Oh well, it was his savings...but now he's all broke and he's depending on me for our entertainments. Gah. Relatives came and took away our sofas and closet. Well, it is theirs, but then I had to deal with the residual chaos that comes with the disappearance of the closet. I had to pack our clothes into boxes. Double gah.
Sunday: Actually managed to sleep in. Woke up, finished tidying up the room. Went to meet the gang at lunch at PS. Everyone except Alin came (no, Princess, I wasn't talking about your cat XP). Joey and I arrived first, then Mel, Gita and Ling and Winda came an hour late. Had lunch at Kafe Roti, then after a few hours we moved to Saint Cinnamon's. Stayed there until dinner and almost closing time. Bought xmas cards for a certain someone's parental unit and herself. Bought birthday gifts for younger cousins. It was a fun day. But then I got home and had to prepare myself for my tryouts the next day.
Today: Try outs at a nearby junior high school. Went well. The faculty were cooperative and very nice. I had to go to campus earlier this morning though. I had some stuff to do, coz of my own stupidity concerning those permission letters. Oh well, had Meech on my walkman, so all is good. Yeah, I guess it's obvious that I'm enjoying her work very much these days. Had to use the public busses countless of times thought today. Cabs were amazingly full. Oh well.
